Hello Everyone,
My name is Nicole, I am a Junior HSLS major with a minor in Plant Biology at OU! I am 21 years old and am definately enjoying it! I currently reside in Riverpark (IT SUCKS!!!!!) but maintain a more permanent residence in Columbus Oh. Interesting fact: I haven't always lived in Ohio, when I was born my family moved to Ireland where we lived for 6 years, when I turned 7 we moved back to ohio and have been here ever since. I'm studying Audiology which requires me to go to 4 more years of school after undergrad(not so awesome). Outside of class I am the Student Coordinator at Nelson Market. It take up almost all of my free time but is one of the best jobs I have ever had. But when im not in class or at work I like to hang out with friends and go outside! My favorite things to do when I'm outside are play tennis and go paintballing. This is just a little bit of information about me and MY LIFE!!!!
As for my thoughts about public and private writing, I feel they are very opposite. Public writing to me is something that you write to a crowd of people something that YOU expect people to read. The way you write something that you know people will read is completely different from how you write something to yourself or a close friend/family member. When I write something public I write using bigger words and I spell check like crazy, because I want people to read my work and be impressed with my ideas and me. When I write in private I'm a little more relaxed, less analytical and base more of my writing on my emotions.
Im an HSLS major too! (as you may know) but you are getting a minor in plant biology, wow, that's a lot different than anyone in our major. thats awesome though! is that just out of interest?
